This is considered the "legendary" and most comprehensive route to witness the majestic beauty of the wild sunflowers. The flowers not only bloom along the road but also cover entire hillsides in gold, creating a truly impressive scene.

Location & Route: From the center of Da Lat, head towards Trai Mat to the Cau Dat Tea Hill. Instead of going straight, turn towards the old Dran Pass to begin your journey. This route will lead you down to Don Duong town.
Highlights: Dran Pass is not overly winding but possesses a wild, ancient beauty. Wild sunflowers here grow in large patches, interspersed with pine forests and peaceful valleys. The scenery is especially breathtaking in the early morning as sunlight slants across the hillsides.
Key Tip: This route is long and relatively quiet, best suited for motorbikes or a private car rental so you can stop freely for photos.
This route perfectly combines flower viewing with exploring the characteristic destinations of Da Lat's suburbs.

Location & Route: Starting from the center, follow Hoang Van Thu Street towards Van Thanh Flower Village. Continue straight, and you will enter Provincial Road 725, which is the Ta Nung Pass.
Highlights: Wild sunflowers on Ta Nung Pass often grow in large bushes along the road, mixed with the lush green coffee plantations of the local people. This is one of the closest suburban routes where you can see the flowers in full bloom.
Key Tip: You can combine this trip with visits to famous spots along the way, such as Van Thanh Flower Village, Me Linh Coffee Garden, and the final destination, the majestic Elephant Waterfall.

This is a gentle, romantic route, ideal for those who want to see flowers in a dreamy setting without traveling too far.
Location & Route: From the city center, follow Trieu Viet Vuong Street to Dinh 3. From here, continue towards Tuyen Lam Lake. The roads around the lake are all adorned with wild sunflowers.
Highlights: The sunflowers in this area don't grow on large hills but rather dot the roadside, reflecting on the tranquil surface of Tuyen Lam Lake. The scenery has a very "poetic" beauty, perfect for couples and families.
Key Tip: You can easily combine flower viewing with other activities at Tuyen Lam Lake, such as boating, visiting Truc Lam Zen Monastery, and the Clay Tunnel.
This is the closest flower-viewing spot to the city center, a perfect choice for travelers with limited time who still want to capture beautiful photos.
Location & Route: The old Cam Ly Airport is located in Ward 5, only about 3-4 km from the center of Da Lat. You can easily find it on Google Maps.
Highlights: The red dirt road leading into the airport area is lined with two tall rows of wild sunflowers, forming a natural and incredibly impressive "golden flower tunnel." This is an ideal backdrop for artistic portrait photography.
Key Tip: As it is a dirt road, be careful if it has just rained. The best time to take photos is in the morning when the sun is not too harsh.
